School

The purpose of Saint Thomas the Apostle Catholic School is to teach the life and message of Christ and the ways to make that message real in their own lives. Acknowledging that it is of prime importance to instill in each child sound principles of civic responsibility, we encourage community outreach as a means for practicing our Christian beliefs.

Established in 1953, Saint Thomas the Apostle Catholic School is located in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona. Our 600 student enrollment makes us the largest Catholic grade school in the city of Phoenix. Our faculty averages 12.5 years of teaching experience, and has impressive educational credentials.

Saint Thomas the Apostle Catholic School will not refuse admission to any student because of race, color, national origin or gender. Priority is given to siblings of current students, STA parish members, Catholics of other parishes, then non-Catholics. Registration applications are available in January and admission decisions are made in April.

Saint Thomas the Apostle Catholic School is blessed to have very active parental involvement. Parents choose to be consistently and willingly involved in the education of their children.
