Volunteer Ministry Opportunities
The goal of Volunteer Ministry is to encourage every parishioner to join one of the many ministry opportunities that are offered at this parish. Being a registered parishioner means that you are committing yourself to a faith community and involvement in that community. Ministry is “authorized service of God in the service of others.” Is there anything more beautiful on our journey to holiness than to serve God? After all, as baptized Christians we are all called to a vocation: to grow in the likeness of Christ through personal sanctification. A vocation is a response to God to use our natural gifts and talents in His service. Saint Thomas the Apostle offers opportunities to serve in the following areas: Liturgical ministries, parish office assistance, church maintenance, house keeping, school, Youth Ministry, Health Care ministries, and in any of the other ministries listed on this page.
